A little help along the way

Yummy Bites FAQ

Answers about starting with the app, sharing with family and managing your account.

Getting started

What is Yummy Bites?

Yummy Bites helps parents organize their baby's first foods and family meals. Explore food guides and recipes, plan meals and shopping lists, record foods tried and liked, and keep food and allergen notes for each child.

The app also includes a starter plan and family sharing, so the people caring for your baby can follow their progress together.

What baby age is Yummy Bites designed for?

The app is for parents preparing to introduce solid foods and continuing toward family meals. Food guides begin with stages such as 6 months+, then include stages such as 9, 12 and 18 months+; some foods have later toddler stages too. The exact stages and preparation depend on the food.

An age label organizes the guide; it does not confirm that a particular baby is ready for a food or texture. Ask a qualified health professional about your baby's feeding readiness or individual needs. The App Store's age rating describes app content, rather than the age to start solids.

Can I use Yummy Bites for BLW, purées or a combination?

Yes. The food library includes different serving formats, including mashed preparations and finger foods, and the recipe library offers ideas as your family's meals develop. Use the guide for the specific food and stage, rather than assuming one cut or texture suits every age.

Choose your feeding approach with your baby's needs in mind. The app helps you organize information; it does not assess your baby's swallowing skills.

What does allergen tracking do?

You can keep track of foods introduced, including common allergens, and record reaction notes. This gives you a history to refer to and share with your child's health professional.

Tracking does not diagnose an allergy, predict a reaction or replace an individual allergy plan. For allergy concerns or a previous reaction, seek advice from a qualified health professional.

Explore the allergen tracker.

Does the app provide medical advice or certify food as safe?

Yummy Bites is an educational planning and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition. Its guides and photo feedback do not certify that a meal is safe for your child.

Speak with a qualified health professional about feeding difficulties, allergies, medical concerns or individualized advice.

Family & account

How do I share Yummy Bites with my family?

Open Profile → Family Sharing and share the family invite link with your partner, grandparent or another trusted caregiver. Family members can join your household and follow shared child profiles and food history.

If the recipient does not have the app, the invite page shows the download link and invite code. Keep the link and code private to the people you want to invite.

Can I keep separate profiles for more than one child?

Yes. You can add child profiles in Profile and switch between them. Each profile helps you organize the child's food history and progress separately.

How do I sign in to my account?

Choose the sign-in option and enter the email address linked to your Yummy Bites account. The app can send an email code; enter the latest code to finish signing in. On Android, a password option may also be available.

If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, confirm the email address and use the resend option after its waiting period. Contact support if you still cannot access your account.

How can I reset my password?

If your account uses a password, open Reset your password, enter your account email and follow the recovery email link to choose a new password. If a recovery link has expired, request a new one.

For email-code sign-in, request a new sign-in code in the app instead. Never share your password, recovery link or sign-in code with another person.

Subscriptions & support

Is Yummy Bites free, and how much does full access cost?

Yummy Bites is free to download. Full access requires a subscription or an eligible purchase offered in the app. Available plans, prices, billing periods and any trial are shown before you confirm a purchase.

Offers can vary by region, platform and eligibility. Use the purchase screen and store confirmation for the exact terms of your chosen plan.

Does every plan include a free trial?

No. A trial is available only when it is shown for the plan and account you are using. Check its duration, renewal price and billing date before confirming. A recurring subscription renews under the terms shown at purchase unless you cancel it.

I already paid. How do I restore access?

For a store purchase, use Restore Purchases on the app's purchase screen while signed in to the Apple or Google account used for the purchase. Also sign in with the email linked to your Yummy Bites account.

For a website purchase or access that still is not recognized, contact support with your purchase platform and account email. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel through the service that billed you:

Deleting the app or your Yummy Bites account does not cancel a store subscription. Check the subscription's status in the service that billed you.

How do I request a refund?

The process depends on where you purchased. App Store purchases follow Apple's refund process; Google Play purchases follow Google's. For purchases made directly through our website, use the contact details and terms in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Canceling renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions.

How do I delete my Yummy Bites account?

Open Profile → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. Read the confirmation carefully before continuing, as deletion removes your account data.

If you also want to stop a store subscription, cancel it separately through Apple or Google Play. See our Privacy Policy or contact support for help with a data request.

How can I contact support?

Email support@yummybitesapp.com or visit our support page. Tell us your device, app version and what happened. For a purchase question, include the platform and account email so we can help locate it.

Do not send your password, a recovery link, a sign-in code or full payment-card details.
